Career Development Process

The Brekke Consulting Career Development Process is a five session training program aimed at equipping and encouraging employees to take control of their own careers and personal growth.

This experience is divided into two phases. The first phase includes the five formal sessions. These corporate office or retreat centered sessions will include a variety of exercises, including role play, group activities, case studies and self study. Videotaped exercises will, on occasion, be used to provide visual feedback. While immersed in this course, employees will develop skills in:

> Connecting and communicating more effectively in a variety of business and social settings, along with improving writing skills.

> Creating work settings that are more welcoming and more personally rewarding.

> Helping others improve their abilities through their own influence, example and coaching.

> Formulating strategies that help themselves do their job more effectively and, with the collective thinking of others, influence the strategy of the company.

The second, and on-going phase, is a self study program that each individual will be assisted in creating during the sessions. During every session individuals create new aspects of their self study program culminating in a action plan aimed at lasting personal growth.

Creating An Environment Within Which People Want To Work

A healthy and strategically appropriate corporate culture is one of the greatest indicators of a company’s future success. Building and maintaining such a culture requires knowledge, a plan, and the cooperation of intentional, committed individuals.
