Welcome to Brekke Retreats. Brekke offers participants a opportunity to work with John in a group or one-on-one in an informal setting to direct attention to group dynamic issues and strategic planning challenges.
One-On-One Retreats:
One-on-one retreats are typically by invitation only. Common activities may include fishing on the St. Croix river, learning to plow, and time reflecting and writing in the writing shack. Every activity is a lesson learned about the value of slowing down, taking time to think deeply, and making the right decisions.
Group Retreats:
Group retreats give senior staff a chance to reevaluate and think freshly about difficult strategic and interpersonal issues. The unique setting encourages free thinking. The group sessions encourage group cohesion in solving problems, making decisions or creating more effective strategies.
The Retreat Center:
The retreat center is located in rural Minnesota, an hour north of the Twin Cities, near Taylors Falls, a quaint tourist town. The center itself is the Brekke farm at the center of 120 acres of rolling hills and lush woodland. The retreat center is minutes from a variety of comfortable accommodations. Transportation to and from the location will be arranged.
